New York City subway conductors serve as the unlikely stars of a stunning new photography series.
Called ‘Subway Drivers,’ the series captures conductors in moments of apparent peace.
Dutch photographer Janus van den Eijnden started photographing underground in 2008, soon narrowing his focus to subway conductors, Slate reports.
Janus van den Eijnden is currently working as a freelancer and is based in Amsterdam.
